Summary
We are seeking a talented and energetic candidate who will enjoy the challenges of working in the fast-changing aviation industry, to support the Human Resources Manager, Business Partner and Administration in delivering professional HR services to ensure compliance, efficiency, accuracy, and high standard of internal customer services.
Position: Specialist to Assistant Manager (Human Resources)
Department: Human Resources (HR)
Role and Responsibilities:

Provides support to the Human Resources Manager to ensure smooth operations of end-to-end HR processes, in functional areas of talent acquisition, employee experience and engagement, total rewards, general HR administrative service for AHK aircrew and ground staff.

Designs and executes effective talent acquisition strategies aimed at enhancing the quality of hires and improving employee retention.

Works closely with business units to assess recruitment requirements, attract qualified candidates, and provide insights on market trends and competitive hiring practices.

Be responsible for recruitment projects and implement diverse sourcing strategies to attract and identify suitable candidates.

Enhances Employee Experience – Collaborate with the management team to develop initiatives focused on employee engagement, employer branding, retention strategies, and effective onboarding processes.

Supports the effective administration of payroll, pension and taxation matters in the appropriate jurisdictions.

Ensure proper maintenance and safekeeping of confidential employee records and sensitive personal data throughout the employment cycle in strict compliance with the regulatory and Company standards.

Works closely and independently with the HR system vendors and internal IT department to support system maintenance and enhancements due to changes of operational needs or regulatory requirements.

Supports the preparation of HR analytics and reports for management review, strategic planning and group reporting purposes.

Keeps abreast of changes in the business and regulatory environment and be equipped of updated skills and knowledge in the industry and the HR field.

Reviews policies, practices and procedures to ensure proper documentation in place, statutory/contractual compliance and transparency to the various employee groups.

Provides timely and professional support to various business units, identifies and contributes to the continuous improvement of our efficiency and internal customer services standards.

Provides effective coaching and support for team-mates and instills a positive learning culture.

Deputizes the Human Resources Manager in carrying out various functions as and when required.

Generates and implements initiatives and/or projects for the continuous improvements and requirements of the Company.
Qualifications and Experience:

A University graduate, preferably major in Human Resources or related disciplines.

At least 5 years’ relevant experience as HR generalist and/or HR advisory, business partnering of which at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a multicultural environment.

Excellent communication skills in verbal and written.

Well-versed in the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, preferably with knowledge of other ordinances under the Hong Kong legislative framework in the areas of employment compensation, personal data protection and anti-discrimination.

Possesses strong skills to manage people’s matters with tact and diplomacy.

Ability to work with an eye for detail as well as the competency of systems thinking.

Ability to evaluate and determine the best solution to make necessary enhancements.

Strong customer service mindset and interpersonal skills.

High standard of computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office, desirably with interests and knowledge on HR related digital systems and tools.

Self-driven with commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

A good team player, proactive and possesses the initiative in embracing the role to contribute in meeting the team goals.

Can-do spirit with an open mind in embracing changes.

Applicants with less experience will be considered for the post of Human Resources Specialist.
