Another Command Upgrade in November 2009

AHK celebrated another successful in-house command upgrade at their headquarters in Cathay City this week.

This time it was Cameron Bodey who received his 4-bars from AHK Director Flight Operations, Captain Andrew Maddox.

Cameron joined AHK in 2008 and is the 27th First Officer to be promoted to the rank of Captain since AHK began its JV operations in 2003.

Also present at the celebration and pictured below were (left to right) AHK’s Manager Line Operations, Captain Eric Dulay, General Manager Operations & Administration, Ron Davies, Captain Cameron Bodey, Director Flight Operations, Captain Andrew Maddox and Manager Quality, Safety and Security, Tony Frock.

An unexpected award was presented to Cameron by Tony Frock,…a DVD of the Hitchcock film The Birds. This award seemed appropriate to Tony as it recognises Cameron’s ability to have achieved the most expensive bird-strike in AHK’s history during his upgrade training…
