Air Hong Kong's fifth freighter launches on Incheon route

Air Hong Kong's latest A300-600GF freighter took its maiden flight this week, heading from Hong Kong to Incheon Airport in Seoul. The freighter - the fifth out of six A300-600GFs ordered by the cargo carrier - was delivered from the Airbus factory in Toulouse on 7 February, arriving in Hong Kong the following day. The aircraft went into the hangar for checks over Chinese New Year before entering service on Sunday, 13 February. Air Hong Kong's sixth freighter will be handed over by Airbus on 11 March and will arrive in Hong Kong the following day. Initially it will be wet-leased to CX to operate the Shanghai service.
