AHK on right note with Mumbai music charter

Air Hong Kong (AHK) operated a charter flight from Hong Kong to Mumbai on 16 February, carrying around 25 tons of musical equipment. This was the first time for AHK to operate to India in its current livery.

The charter involved a lot of communication between various parties and good support from teams in Hong Kong and India. "Special thanks go to the CX Cargo team in Mumbai who did a great job for us," says AHK General Manager Commercial Alex Lau.

There were a number of technical issues to consider for this one-off flight. The crew had to take a tow bar with them on the aircraft because there wasn't one available in BOM that could fit the AHK A300-600.
